been long time

Howdy y'all! I realized it has been a really long time since I have made an update. So for all who are wondering I made a 70 on the huge stressful Organic Chemistry exam. I was even more relieved to find out that a C begins at a 65 in that class. I have also discovered some new and pretty awesome as heck music. It is like Rock and then Rock/Rap and it is kick arse.

Other than that it was a pretty great and standard week. Today was Missouri S&T's Celebration of Nations and I had so much fun watching the parade and then going to the festival. I am excited about next year when my boyfriend is here and can go with me.

My amazing weekend

I had the best weekend ever. I got to sleep in Saturday and then got an amazing present from my rocking boyfriend. Then I decided to just do projects all day and watch movies. I made a cookbook, a pot holder/ oven mitt, and a kitty box for my baby girl Jazz.

And then Sunday I got to sing in the church choir and my family got to come and visit me. :)

Good Friends

This is a shout out to all my friends. The ones who break through my shell and make me laugh. The ones who know when I need hugs and when I just need to be cheered up. The ones who will say I am here if you need me. I am blessed with so many friends and there are few I hold dear. I am thankful I have them all in my life. We have fun, we dance, we laugh, we cry, we live. I don't know what I would do without them. I would have to say one of my best and closest friends would have to be my sister Amanda. She has been my best friend since well I can't remember and we have lived and went through a lot. We have always been there for each other and now even though we are a long ways away we still are there for each other. I would be lost without her. She is one of the few who understand me when I am having an off moment. I hope that one day her and I will be neighbors and we will have fun.

What I wish

There is always a dream, desire, goal, something you work so hard to get. That would be what I consider a wish. I think there are multiple forms of wishes. I believe that a strive to get or reach something is a wish.

What do I wish for? I wish for happiness, love, great friends, amazing adventures. I wish to be skinny again so I can wear the super cute clothes. I wish that the world wasn't full of liars, cheats, theifs, rapest, murderers, a world where everyone just did the right thing and lived for the sake of being good. I wish for my boyfriend to be back here with me soon so I will have my best friend and companion right there by my side to laugh and smile with, I also wish for many more days, months, and years with him. As it stands I do wish for a lot yet to me it isn't that much.

With that being said I am thankful for all I have been blessed with. I am thankful for all that the lord has given. I love my life and the people in it. Hope you all are having a good one. This is greeneyedangel92 signing off  

Why I love my life

I finally made it through the toughest part of my week. Yes! I took my chemistry exam today. The thing I have been stressing over for about 2 weeks. I am so thankful to have that over and for my boyfriend who stood by me and in a way held my hand through every stress filled breakdown and kept my spirits up with his love and his humor. I swear I think he spoils me. I am also thankful for all the lovely people who have given me my coffee. Yes I know it was their job and they were so so good at it (pumpkin lattes are the best thing ever).

Why do I love my life? Well besides my rocking awesome boyfriend and the amazing coffee people. I have my faith, my family, my cat, my friends who as we all know will buzz my phone until I give in and hang out, I know they do it with love because they like to see me have fun, I am getting to go to school and do stuff I love. Life is grand.

Workout Blues

Funny story for everyone. I went and worked out and lifted weights on Saturday. I did curls with a 30lb bar and I did squats on a smith press with 20lbs on each side. It was great and I loved feeling the burn. As it turns out it does not feel so nice for two days after doing something like that. I barely survived the two mile walk to church on Sunday and yesterday I could hardly move my arms and legs. Thank the good lord in heaven I had a jar of Vicks to rub on my arms and legs and now I feel so much better today. :) Yay!

I am also preparing for an Organic Chemistry test that I have to take tomorrow. I think I am all good to go yet it never hurts to study until it is like reading the back of your hand. So that is all I have to say for now. This is greeneyedangel92 signing off.

The little things/what I am thankful for

Since I skipped yesterday I will make this a double theme. I am gonna write about the little things in life that make me happy and things I am thankful for.

I love my cat Jazz. She is like a daughter to me. It fills my heart with warmth and happiness when I come home feeling tired and worn out and she jumps in my lap and cuddles. She makes me smile when she does random things like trying to scale the wall or door frame.

I am thankful for my boyfriend. He is supportive, loving, funny. He makes everyday good and wonderful. I would be lost if I didn't have him by my side. When I have a bad day he always knows just what to say to make me smile again. He is just the best.

I am thankful for my family. My dad and brother are my biggest bodyguards. They are always there when I need them. My Grandma is like a best friend. She and I always have fun hanging out and laughing. My family is the most wonderful ever and I love them all very much.

I love long walks, reading books, doing science experiments, playing music.

Love is grand

I will write about almost everything yet one thing you will always hear me say is how much and how amazing my boyfriend Luke is. Everyone ask the same kinds of questions when I mention him. Like how did you two meet, how do you guys make it work, etc... Well I will tell you everything.

It all started in September 2013. I had been in Rolla, Mo for about a month and was still trying to make friends. I was on Facebook and realized that there was this guy who liked almost all the poetry I was writing on a group account, I then realized we had friends in common so I sent a request and we hit it off really well. It went from talking on Facebook chat to finally I gave him my number and we texted almost all the time. Then in December I realized I was in love with him. I told him and then on December 23rd we decided that even though we were so far away we should give it a shot. We have been through a lot and I am so glad to call him mine.

We have made it work because we make an effort to call and text. We are just like any other couple in the world it is just we have a lot of distance.

I am happy I have Luke in my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. He is supportive, comforting, loving, and a ton of other things. He is my rock and I love him with all me heart.

A typical rainy day

I really do love rainy days. Especially ones where I don't have much to do except cuddle up with my Organic Chemistry book and do homework. Which is great considering I have my first test on Wednesday and it is the biggest stresser  in my life at the moment. At moments like these I wish I was at Potosi at home eating grilled cheese with tomato soup chilling with my family. It will be nice to cuddle up with Jazz(if she is being nice tonight) and watch some movies.

On another note. I realize that the nice good old fall weather is hitting us. It feels so nice to wake up and throw on a comfy hoodie before walking out the door to go to class. My favorite thing about fall besides the weather is that almost everything pumpkin comes out in stores from pumpkin pies to even pumpkin lattes(best thing ever!). I can't wait until Thanksgiving and get to eat one of my brothers famous pumpkin pies. Taylor you are the best brother ever.

UGH! Computers!

So have you ever realized something that no matter how smart you think you are you just have a lack of ability to do? Well for me it is using a computer. Yes I am probably the only student in a technology based university who does not know how to do much on these things besides check email and facebook. So after like 5 minutes of trying to figure out how to log in and find out how to work this I am now writing y'all another post.

So after a wonderful girls night in with one of my best friends who's name is Randa two things occurred to me.
1) going to bed at 2:30am with the knowledge of having to wake up for a 9:30 class isn't a good thing.
2) no one! and I mean no one! should drink a large latte and a bottle of soda before two 1.5 hour classes.

with that being said I am glad I have my best friend. She always knows how to make me laugh and she understands me when I am having weird outlandish thoughts. She is the one who introduced me to my wonderful boyfriend and I am glad she did.  It is always a good laugh especially when we are both wondering why in the galaxy of cosmos did my cat just bite me. (funny story for later)

Howdy Y'all! I was looking for a creative outlet to just chill and get unstressed and I realized how much I love to write and so a blog seemed like a great way to unwind after a long days study and work. For all who are reading and don't know me, my name is Kristin but close friends call me Kris. I have a wonderful family and an amazing boyfriend named Luke. Luke and I have been in a long distance relationship for about 9 months. I look forward to many more months and years with my love and best friend. I also have a cat named Jazz, and here she is:

I am a student studying Chemistry at Missouri S&T. I am wanting to join the Air Force as an officer and become an Air Force scientist. To say in best terms life is pretty sweet.
